Colonial Craft Day

APPLICATIONS NOW OPEN FOR VENDORS FOR 2019!!!!!

 

Attending the Fair: (Saturday May 11, 2019 9am-2pm)

Saturday May 11th, the second day of the encampment we will be holding a Colonial Craft Fair from 9am-2pm!! The event will be held in the fields and pavilion, on the middle school side of the building, rain or shine.

Invite friends and family! There is no entrance fee for this event. Stop by and see what wonderful goods our vendors have to sell, sample some of Martha Washington’s bread, as well as talk with our students about the crafts and history they have learned.  Revolutionary war battle scenes will take place later in the day as well.

Saturday, May 12 Craft Show Schedule: 

9AM-2PM:  Vendors selling goods, colonial games, and student run craft stations going all day. Maps are available at the Mercantile tent.

  • 11:00- Dutch Milliners speaking about women’s fashion in the 18th century
  • 12:00- Music and Dancing
  • 1:00- Battle Scenes reenacted by the 8th grade students

All proceeds from the 17th Colony Mercantile tent will go toward next year’s event.

This day is for our community, so please come celebrate the students hard work and our heritage with us!! We can’t wait to see you!

Information for Interested Vendors:

Saturday May 11, 2019  the Willard Middle School Revolutionary War Reenactment and Encampment will be holding a community craft fair. The fair is from 9am-2pm with check in for vendors at 7:00am.

Any and all are welcome to bring their goods to sell (colonial wares are not required!) If you would like to reserve a space, you must fill out the registration form (link below). After your form is received, you will get an email letting you know information about payment. Please only quality goods.

The deadline to apply for a spot is May 5th, 2019. The show will be held outdoors, weather permitting. We will move inside the HAAS Gym at the back of the school if it looks like rain. PLEASE ONLY RESERVE A SPOT IF YOU ARE 100% SURE YOU CAN ATTEND!

There is a $10.00 charge to reserve an empty space. $20.00 if you would like a space with one table and two chairs.** (Cash, or Check only AFTER you receive an acceptance email.)

**It is not necessary to sell colonial goods to participate, but if you bring a period appropriate tent for your booth, and/or your wares are 18th century colonial in nature, your fees will be waived!**

 

How to reserve a vendor space:

Fill out the form below. After your form is received you will be contacted via email. If you are selected to be part of our craft show, information about payment will be enclosed in the email.

Non-refundable payment is taken only AFTER you are contacted with an acceptance email. Your spot will not be held until payment is received (unless fees are waived for colonial goods).

Closer to the craft show date you will receive a table number, rough map of the area, and check-in information. We look forward to seeing you!!
