This site was created for the Willard City School’s 8th grade Revolutionary War Reenactment and Encampment event held every year in Willard, OH. Each year we try to make this experience bigger and better, and this past event was our biggest yet! We truly believe that our students learn best when they can have real-world interactions, use their hands, and be immersed in the culture of the time.
It is our hope that more and more people want to be involved in our event to make it as authentic as possible. If you are interested, please see the volunteer’s page. If you cannot volunteer your time we also have a page for monetary donations and will be posting a list of needed supplies soon. Through the year we will also be doing fundraisers for this event and we will keep you updated on needs for those as well.
We will be posting all events and news on this site, as well as our Facebook page. At the bottom of this page is a blue button to subscribe to this site and receive email updates. There is also a link to Facebook. Please follow us on everything so that you don’t miss any news, and share this with friends and family so that we can spread the word!! Our event is only as strong as the community that supports it, and we love you for all that you do!!!!
